Prevailing Wind

I'm sure all of you can guess / deduce the direction of the prevailing wind at this location.

The field boundary is a long stone wall with a single gap filled by this whitebeam tree.  The view is from the road, looking along the line of the wall.  I have blipped it two or three times before, but for ease of reference, I have added a view from further away (in the 'extras').

One was taken on the way out and the other on the way back.  In that 35 minute intrval, the clouds changed a lot, getting cloudier.  By evening there was thicker cloud around and even a few spots of rain but it didn't come to anything (1.4mm at a local weather station 7 miles away).  More rain is forecast for the next three days.
