Mixed Fortunes

I managed another steady round of golf this morning, finishing two under handicap, despite messing up the last. I had my share of good fortune along the way. The photo shows Phil heading down the 13th fairway.

Just as we finished, Chris messaged me to let me know the Yeovil manager had been "relieved of his duties" after yesterday's debacle of a second half and a generally uninspiring start to this season and end to last.

Personally  I thought he deserved a bit more time to turn things around but unfortunately his style of football had become so unpopular with a large section of supporters that the new owners obviously felt they had no choice but to make a fresh start.

This afternoon we spent time picking more apples and generally pottering in the garden
