Making hay ....

..... well not quite but, given tomorrow sees several days of (much needed) rain, if the forecast is to believed. I thought I should make the most of toady's sunshine and cut the "lawn".  

Now that we have battery powered tools for the garden (lawn mower, hedge trimmer and strimmer), I actually quite enjoy the work - there is something rather meditative about it.  

Today's thoughts included further reflections on the show I saw yesterday (so it had succeeded in that respect :-) ) and plans for the coming few weeks which will be quite busy.
