Tiny delights
Two lots of washing done and dried and some ironing first thing of clean things we brought back from Bath before it got too hot.
I did a bit of garden tidying in between, Chris did all the watering.
Two nice surprises. The tiny Toad Lily is now flowering and it’s the only one so it had to be my blip as this might be the end of the plants run, we’ve had to replace it before. Even more exciting for me is the Koru appearing on the tree fern which we’d given up on this year. Whether it will come to much I don’t know but I’m delighted to see it!
Went back into the garden after lunch and did a bit more but I found it too hot, fancy that - hot in a British Bank Holiday Monday!
The end of summer? The remnants of storm Erin is on it’s way, apparently it’s been on its way for two weeks!
I’m adding a link to my Flickr album of The Newt Somerset and Iford Manor garden visits here
