Today A left early for the North Berwick regatta, so I walked Django. I then gave our intern the final comments on her dissertation - for her submission deadline is 23:00 today. After putting on a wash, I decided to combine shopping for groceries with a bike ride. Once I get on the old railway on a bike, it's hard to stop because it's such delightful cycling, and I ended up at Dalkeith Country Park, as I did a fortnight ago. From the bridge over the North Esk, I took this view back to Dalkeith Palace. 

As I was leaving the park I met TSTopper and his black Labrador, and as I arrived in Roslin, I met Boat2, two Turfers whose names are familiar, and now I have a face to put to them!

After shopping in Penicuik, I arrived home and listened to the commentary of United's match whilst watching the images of the New Zealand vs Spain game in the Women's Rugby WC. A was tired when she got back, so I cooked.
