Pinks Not Dead

This plant seemed to have been irreparably damaged a couple of weeks ago, with stalks bent and budding flower looking diseased.
But whatever the problem was it has fought back and now stands proud amongst the flowers in the garden of my apartments/flats.

As a result I have a bit of a soft spot for it; a respect for its willingness to hang on and persevere
