Economics

A tough Parkrun today, I've no idea why, it just felt hard. I chatted with a few friends before coming home, via the deli I usually get bread and doughnuts from. Annoyingly it was shut and Coop just isn't as good.

Up to the allotment to water and pick beans, where I also bumped into another friend who I didn't even know had an allotment. Theirs is nicer than mine.

Back to a bit of weeding and more watering. So many of my plants have died this year with the hot weather and lack of rain. I'm trying not to get too worried, some might recover.

As next door had yet another of their loud and large BBQs this afternoon we went for a beer and a curry at our favourite places. Sadly I think the restaurant is not long for this world, they are really struggling and have had to let 50% of their staff go over the last couple of months. The pub opposite has already closed and the restaurant next door has had to cut numbers.
