Capital adventures

And that's a wrap

Resisted the urge this morning to get into a lot of Apex admin. Instead did some laundry and some Finance (remembering it's a bank Bank Holiday on Monday), dealt with deliveries and nipped out Bonnyrig to deliver a package.

Then the last foray to the Book Festival. First a workshop on creative writing, 6/10. Then Naga Munchetty. She was very spiky but Devi Shridar her interviewer wasn't good and failed to put the lid on a woman who read a completely irrelevant statement, and then can't back for more. Devi should have called Naga out on some of her statements. 7/10. Naga thinks she's old. She's 50.

Bumped into Fourstory again before a roundabout search for food and drink. Ended back in the relative peace off the Book Festival for a hurried pizza and Merlot.

Then learnt to the McEwan Hall for Adam Kay and Paul Singha, not Val McDermid. It was very, very hot. It was entertaining, and we got an included copy of the book, and dinner of his comments about doctors and medicine juxtaposed nicely with the previous event. Putting them together would have been interesting. But I was glad to get out of the suffocating heat 8/10.

Then through a heaving and noisy Bristo to get the #7 at the stop and be booked by 9.

Straight to bed. The Festivals have caught up with me.
