Flowering At The Farm

I haven't walked at Holyfield Hall Farm since the spring. I was expecting to see geese but didn't see a single one on the ground. The pond area that was cleared earlier this year is dry and the water in the original pond is dangerously low. :( I was pleased to see this Michaelmas daisy. These are not native to the UK but are naturalised. I wonder if it will still be blooming at Michaelmas, 29th September? I thought the three cans on top of the combine harvester looked colourful. These machines need so many different fluids.

Back home a young buzzard was calling from the top of the tall Cupressus hedge and I got a shot of the dear little chiff chaff in number one disused glasshouse.
