Not much to say, as I spent far too much time today absorbed in writing, and ended up quite annoyed with myself for staying indoors on such a beautiful day - didn't even have any pool time. 

A pleasant evening saved the day when I met Sue and friend for fish and chips and a beer at Sahara restaurant on the sea front where in the evenings several small boats sell 'balık ekmek' (lliterally: fish bread) a tasty snack of fried fish in a huge baguette.  Very popular, but I prefer mine on a plate with chips (and a beer!)
