Waiting….

One of the things we take to the market is Bonnie’s bed, as she stays under the table by the checkout. It’s her job to welcome customers, check them for hidden dog treats, and generally be a soothing influence….
She’s very good at some of these tasks, but very unhappy if I forget her bed and she has to lie on the floor. So this morning she was firmly in her bed so that I couldn’t go without it!
It was very busy indeed this morning, we had more than 80 groups of customers which is nearly 30 per hour! All my pastries sold very quickly, and by the end there was very little food left at all. I think the craft stalls did well too, and the WI coffee counter took loads of money towards the new roof!
That’s our last one for a couple of weeks as we have the grandchildren visiting and then going south to visit the other two. I’m looking forward to a change, seeing everyone and maybe not doing much cooking….
