Men and Lucca

A left at 7 to head for the bus to Edinburgh and then train to Leicester (I think) for a war games competition that he is only a spectator. There are a few from his club going . It seems like it’s a popular hobby but really, it’s only for geeks!

Lucca and I popped into Nero for a coffee and I met and chatted to two regulars which always passes the time and interesting chat.

We walked round to Polegato for the bread and then got the bus home. Walked back down to give Ben his lunch but he was feeling much improved since yesterday thankfully.

I dig up some potatoes from our raised bed at the front of the house to have with my chicken but there was a disaster heating it up (cooked it yesterday and the receptacle I put it in melted so I wasn’t eating it as there could be melted plastic on the chicken.

I had some weird concoction instead.

Laura was up with the car later and now I’m up to date with my blips !

Two years ago today we shut the door on Mym’s flat for the last time. Thinking of her so much these days. Lots happened in August two years ago including her birthday ….
