Edinburgh

It was another really beautiful and hot day when I left this morning to go for my bus. I was reading my book, so not paying attention to the outside world, but when I looked up in Edinburgh, we were shrouded in must. The haar was in. I had no jacket with me, and I wasn’t sure what the temperature would be, but was pleasantly surprised that it was mild and humid in Edinburgh.

Work was work! TT was meeting friends for lunch in Edinburgh. BB was out with friends this afternoon, then got the bus into Edinburgh and met me at work. We then met up with TT and the headed off to a show. We went to see The Chief, Still No Apologies. We all enjoyed it, although TT and I saw him last year, and there was a lot of similar material. BB didn’t see him last year, and didn’t stop laughing. It was very good. We then headed to a South Indian restaurant for a late tea, before catching the bus home. It was still very hot.

I went up Calton Hill at lunchtime. It had brightened up alot, but was still hazy. This is a view towards the castle.
