Cross

A really beautiful and very hot day. I was working a short day, so I could go to the hairdresser later in the afternoon. What I hadn’t bargained on was having to get to Corstorphine, when there was an a oasis concert at Murrayfield.

I left work a little earlier than I had planned, but then waited an age on a bus. The one I was waiting on didn’t appear, so I jumped on a random bus, having checked he was going where I needed to be. He didn’t mess about and zi ended up being ten minutes early, which seemed like a miracle.

The hairdresser was definitely not the place to be on such a hot day, but I survived! Getting back into town was more challenging, and took ages. I eventually made it and didn’t have to wait too long on a bus home. It was also very hot.

I was glad to eventually get home. My tea was ready. Later I popped out for some fresh air.

I always admire this beautiful cross which I pass on my way to the hairdresser.
