Sapper

Haverthwaite Railway have a new engine - Sapper, built for the Ministry of Defence in 1953 by the Hunslet Engine Company. Haverthwaite bought it in June this year all the way  from the Kent and East Sussex Railway . I would have loved to see it being brought in on a low loader.  Kentboy captured it filling up with water yesterday.
 I was lucky this morning to turn up when it was setting off and having admired lots of steamy blips by Kiteseeker and Bom, I rushed to the front for this quick snap.
