Balsam again

The only photos I took today were of Mr P wading in the River Kent. 

We also visited two local farmers because we've discovered balsam further up Chapel Beck from where we live and need to walk through their fields to collect it. Both were absolutely delighted for us to go ahead.

We've located the source of the balsam at a caravan site  and visited them too. They agreed they had masses if it in their woods but told us not to worry, they had everything under control and would be spraying the plants in September.  I told them September was much too late, all the seeds will have dispersed and the plants will be dying anyway.
