Growing
I could've swim this morning but turned over and went back to sleep. Up, though, to see S off on her Orkney adventure via Aberdeen and the ferry.
I did some personal admin which didn't go as far as committing my to flights for January, April.
Then to the Manor to sort clothes and a TV and support the review. Next to the physio. That was a journey.
Took the #9 as it was a wait till the 24 and thought I'd walk along Princes Street. No such luck. It was stationary gridlock when we got to the Appleton Tower. I got off at Bristo and managed to overtake the new target #47, getting on at the EIF. More gridlock and very slow progress with Heriot's having just disgorged its students. With it taking 30 minutes from Appleton to the Art College and less than 20 minutes to get to my destination I got off and walked the rest. I beat both the #47 and the #24 to the West End and made it with 3 minutes to spare.
I'd booked and an assessment and a massage. The first was fairly positive (my hamstrings aren't that tight) but the massage was brutal. Exquisite pain as she tried to force the tension from the tight leg muscles.
Once home I followed her advice and had a hot shower but I was too exhausted to do proper cooking. Cheese toasties, some French TV and then bed for the early night my body craved.
