Lock Lights
Today we delivered Bramble (the dog) to our son Nat and his partner Katie. We were headed to Chesterfield to help our other son Isaac move house tomorrow, and they offered to look after Bramble.
We met at Skelton Lake Services on the M1 near Leeds. We went for a walk down to the Aire and Calder Navigation - a big canal with an enormous lock. It must have been built for commercial barges as it is several times bigger than the locks used by narrow boats. I was also surprised to see traffic lights at either end of the lock (both on amber), which I suppose makes sense if there are a lot of boats. We didn't see any.
