Brighton

Brighton is a varied town, we went to the Marina to go bowling. You would think Brighton Marina would be a flagship area of the town. It is not. It is an unpleasant, ugly place with nothing of especial niceness except for the free table tennis tables. The bowling place was actually horrible, even in bowling place terms. Funniest point was when our lane broke and Clare went to get a small child who works the to help. He started following her back to our lane but kept veering off to stop and talk to his friends or something. Eventually Clare chased him down and we continued our game.

This is a new temporary restaurant set up on Hove seafront, called Dine in the Sky. you strap yourself in, they hoist you 100ft into the air then serve you lunch. Nice.

We didn't eat there, we went back to my mum and dads for roast lamb. Sitting on normal chairs at a ground level table.
