Calm Before the Storm

It was a busy day today. Volunteering in the morning and then home for lunch and some chores before taking son no 3 to Edinburgh Airport for his flight to Pisa. He’s spending a week with my sister and brother-in-law. Getting to the airport was relatively easy but getting home was a nightmare. I was stuck for ages on the bypass. I picked up son no 1’s partner at Straiton (time for a quick Lidl shop) on the way home. Son no 1 had cooked for us tonight and we had to wolf it down before heading off to a Parish Pastoral Council meeting. During the meeting we found out that son no 3 was flying into a storm and a power cut. Turns out that his flight was the only one to land at Pisa.
On a more positive note. The new garden room is finally finished!
