Oldie, but a goodie
Today began rather dull, but by early afternoon the sun was out and it was pretty warm. I got on with various indoor things this morning - u3a Poetry Group anthology and other computer stuff.
After lunch I drove down to Huws Gray, one of our local builders merchants, to order more trellis to add to what the fencers erected yesterday. Unfortunately their only delivery driver called in sick this morning and so they are for the moment unable to deliver. I'll have to try again later on.
Met a former Photo Club member in the town. He had a slight stroke a few years ago and told me that he hadn't used his camera for three years! I tried to persuade him to come to one of our meeting when the season restarts in October, but I don't think that he will.
Arriving home, this fuchsia was lit up in the sun and so is my Blip for today. It's Fuchsia 'Corallina', a hybrid from 1844, and a very useful hardy spreading cultivar. I've probably Blipped it before, but it does deserve a bit of publicity!
