Blackberry Way

Still this wretched weather goes on! I had a dental appointment at lunchtime and Mrs M offered to drive me down between her commitments, but when the rain stopped and the sun came out I decided to walk - a wonderful blue sky! Then it began to rain again so I accepted a lift after all!

After my appointment I walked over to Tesco to buy a paper and waited for ten minutes for the rain to stop before walking home. It didn't, so I set off. I had planned to stop on the way to pick some brambles as they're just beginning to ripen here. When I got to my special bramble patch the sun came out, so I enjoyed 15 minutes of picking and gathered a pound and a half - my Blip today. Then the rain began and I walked home and got wet! Someone asked me why my Blips were all about the weather - that's because it's usually the most dramatic event of the day!
