Derelict Cosmos

It's tricky to keep up with deadheading now. The heat, the lack of rain and the onward march of summer result in lots of faded blooms. Here is a cosmos flower which has done its thing. Thanks Marlieske for the derelict challenge. 

I spent this morning with another trustee and the service manager working on the new business plan. I think we've made a really good start but we still have masses to do. The way I'd tackled my draft section was given the thumbs up I'm pleased to say. 

Now I'm going to meet the girls from school for the first time this term. Looking forward to hearing about their first week back. It won't be a long shift today because they've got the dentist at 5pm. 

I'm glad you like my little egret yesterday. I ran out of blip time I'm afraid.
