Little Egret
It's only in the past couple of decades that little egrets have been seen in any number this far north. Climate change is expanding their range and today I saw one on the Forth at Kildean. They are such delicate birds compared to their grey heron cousins. This blip won't take much enlargement because the egret was on the far side of the river but I wanted a record of it.
Back to term time routine today with school pick up for my grandson. Can't be late so I must set off soon. Back to blip later.
