Following in Aphrodite's footsteps

Our very nice holiday home owner took us for a spin in his boat around the Akamas Peninsula. We dropped anchor near Aphrodite's Beach, where legend has it she swam with her lover Adonis. This was much more interesting than the grotto we saw the other day. Especially as we had brought our swimming stuff. We jumped in for a quick dip before heading back to the harbour. Another lovely afternoon.
