Back to Slaggan Bay
We took the tandem to Slaggan Bay today.
Given the fabulous weather, several others also decided that this should be the beach du jour. It was quite an effort to squeeze our car into the last spot in the wee car park next to the 5k track to the bay.
There were several comings and goings on the beach over the course of the day, but the total number of people there at any one time was no more than six. We can live with this!
We spent most of our time on the beach reading and sunbathing. I finished The every by Dave Eggers and made a start on Every one still here by Liadan Ní Chuinn. Mr hazelh went for a short swim, and I paddled a little. We also saw a pair of massive sea eagles fly over the cliffs at the far end of the bay.
It's been a great start to our holiday :-)
Exercise today: short tandem ride to Slaggan Bay and back.
