Superflightpath

I noticed the football Google Doodle. It's the start of the English Premier League season. Reynard's ready for it. I've written before about how foxes steal toys from neighbouring gardens. I found this soft football under MrQ's oak tree down the nursery. Obviously Reynard has nicked it from somewhere.  I photographed a drone fly on yarrow and what I think is a female brown argus butterfly in the grass.

A Spitfire flew over early this morning. I got a shot but it was soft. :( Shortly afterwards the Dakota flew north heading for Leeds. I captured it again this evening as it returned to North Weald.

At 6:35 I was very excited to hear the Lancaster approaching from the south, rushed outside and got a so-so shot. At 7:25 I heard it again. She was heading south and I got a series of decent images. I've added one to extras taken as she flew over the glasshouses. I love living under a classic aircraft superflightpath. :)
