BVM & Friends

Busy day! Off to Bandon today to deliver a talk on these once rather forgotten wells (scroll down to Kilbrogan) - but their future looks good as they are the recipients of a small heritage grant. My talk was in Bandon Library- a very funky, modern and busy place with some very posh audio visual, so the presentation looked great. An enthusiastic and eclectic audience and a nice vibe, so I think it went well. It's the start of Heritage Week here and the variety events on offer are mind blowing - I've another two events coming up so it's all go.

I saw this little  colourful collection yesterday enroute to Dunowen and skidded to a halt. It's not just stamps you can buy at this post office!  I've tried to biggity the tag on the BVM - I reckon its 210 euros. Will I take orders?
