Sir Bob

Another lovely sunny day. As ever there was too much work to fill my day. I escaped briefly at lunchtime to pick up a sandwich, then had to leave sharpish to catch a train to North Berwick.

Once on the train, my phone downloaded a number of messages, and missed calls. TT had had car trouble this afternoon, so wasn’t sure he would make it to North Berwick. Eek!! I was on my way, with no way of getting home. Anyway it turns out the AA had fixed things, so he was at least able to get to North Berwick.

We met up at Fringe By The Sea, where we had some food, we were both rather disappointed by our mediocre choice, and but it served a purpose.

We then headed into the big top, and watched the support act who we both quite liked. They were a local and called Logan’s Close. Then the headliners came on, The Boomtown Rats. I had pretty low expectations, so was very pleasantly surprised. They did a fantastic set, just fabulous. A really great night. I imagine Sir Bob may need a day or do to recover, but he was great, the old hits, some politics, and campaigning thrown in for good measure.

We headed home singing Rat Trap!! This picture was taken by TT, who is much taller than me!! the extra is a green man!
