Kiwi Magic

The kiwis will ripen from now til maybe December, although they do seem a little early this year. We just have one plant, which produces plenty. The pros have some kind of meter that measures the sugar, but I just rely on the guy who sells at the market—when he’s got fruit, ours is ready. In the meantime it is wonderful to sit under the arbor and listen to the birds and bees.
