A day of running around. Car to the garage early to get serviced and MoT'd, then to the hairdresser's, then back to collect the car before a quick outfit change and off to a funeral. It was the mother of two (brothers) of J's friends, a lovely lovely lady who had a massive impact on her local community and was loved by almost everyone she ever met. There must have been over 150 people saying goodbye today, after a smaller service yesterday. It was a lovely afternoon, although I've never been to a funeral with so many clergy in the congregation (her husband was the Bishop of Bath and Wells at one point, as well as the Bishop of Croydon)!!

After the formalities we adjourned to a local hostelry for a more relaxed conversation before Himself and I left them to it and came home.
