Operahuset

A bit of an interrupted night, not because it was particularly noisy but almost the opposite. Our room overlooks a very quiet street so whenever anyone walked down it we could hear them (our bedroom at home is surprisingly quiet bearing in mind where we live). Anyway, we managed (some better than others) and also managed to be out of the door by about 0930, early for us on holiday. A wander round some shops later we decided to be tourists for the day and went on a(n overpriced) canal tour. To be fair, it was almost probably worth the money as it was quite interesting and not something we'd normally have done.

The weather changed suddenly at lunchtime so we hid (!) in a food market with fishcakes, pickles, beer and red wine until it was dry enough to leave, before sitting and watching the world go by for a bit in one of the many squares they have here.

Back to the hotel for a bit of a (WiFi enabled) catch up and then we're out for a nice dinner tonight. Last night was a quite casual, but very, very, good burger, tonight is a 'proper' restaurant with tablecloths and everything (probably).
