It's a very hot day

Earlish walk in the woods finishing off in the river. 
Swimdog booked for 13:30. Dina was a bit anxious at first without a floatation aid on, so Julie put one on and she got her confidence again. Then she was off swimming happily again following me around the swimming pool. It was a much needed interlude from the oppressive heat.
Two dog walking friends turned up just as we were finishing, just in time for coffee and cake.
