Choose Life

Brilliant 70th and 84th party this evening - Denise (in pink shirt) and Mizette - a newcomer to the area, and very much an old timer, here since Salazar days. 

Guests could order a "Choose Life" t-shirt to wear, which I thought a great idea because no problem choosing what to wear (though I was too hot to wear mine mostly). For anyone, like myself, who had no idea what that slogan was referring to, here is a supposedly short history.

Anyway, we began with a sunset cruise around the Lake in Tiago's Dutch sailing barge and his 7-berth yacht, which drew up alongside each other for Denise to come on to the barge halfway round.

Back on land, there was a free bar and a pig roast, with loads of accompaniments, and then a massive birthday cake, made by Glória. Sitting on tables round the water, or dancing to 80's music.
