Indian Elephant Claw Bell
Today's been a busy day as Son#2 had his further cardiac ablation treatment session at Freeman Hospital here in Newcastle. Apparently it went well and the consultant thinks he's finally done enough treatment to prevent the episodes of a disabling very rapid heart beat which our son has occasionally experienced. We were pleased to be able to bring him home at about 8.30 this evening.
So this is just a quick blip, to show the whole of the bell which I blipped for the Tiny Tuesday challenge this week. It seems that it's not as rare as we thought, and indeed blipper JohnW identified it as an Indian Elephant Claw Bell and he's clearly absolutely correct! I understand that they're used in some ceremonies in India but I'm happy for anyone to give me more info if they know more! Sadly they don't seem to be very valuable as I've seen one for sale on line for £10!
