Weary!
The heat makes me weary and I am not much of one not to do anything. Consequently I've been sweating cobs today doing stuff outside and trying to stay in the shade while doing it.
Photo is when I was having a minute under the parasol looking at the clouds forming.
I had to clear piles of cat poo from one of the borders. It was disgusting.
Was watering our plants using the hose today (not used the hose in a while but everything was parched) and a hole blew in it. It's an expanding one and you can't cut any off. I thought to myself this hose has not lasted long - felt like we'd had it only a couple of years. Checked the paperwork and we bought it in June 2018! Left the watering because dark grey clouds had formed and it felt like it was going to at least chuck down and maybe storm. However, I had to resume the watering later as the clouds all blew over.
Went outside a couple of times last night to hopefully spot the meteor showers but typically there was full cloud cover.
Terry had a phone call from the Royal Liverpool to see if he was OK after his procedures yesterday. he told her he is fine but he wasn't pleased that when he woke up (well it's not like the sedation knocks you out but you are not very aware of what is happening usually) he didn't get the more sedation he had been told he'd get.
Today I noticed his favourite shirt (should have worn another!) had dried blood on the sleeve where his vein had leaked after removal of the cannula. Having only found this today when the shirt was going in the wash, this was never going to be easy to correct. We have tried a few things to remove the stains but although we have succeeded in fading them they are still there. It's a work still ongoing!
