A day in the life

First fruit

My garden has some attempts given by me to produce some fruit. Until now it's been fruitless apart from a few signs of life. Last year I planted two kinds of Raspberries, normal and autumn varieties, and red currants. The red currant bush blew to pieces last year and hasn't come back, it produced about twenty berries. The raspberries were few and extremely small, probably because I misjudged the amount of watering. There's an apple tree with some decease that never started to grow and I will probably remove it and get a new one. The only thing that produce anything is the rhubarb, which on the other hand grow like mad and gives much, much more than anyone wants.  Two years ago I was given a grape vine that last year produced one (1) bunch of grapes, this year not a single grape but an enormous amount of leaves. Two years ago I also planted Blackberries and they have now blessed me with at least one soon to be ripe berry and there might be more. I also saw that the berries are guarded by a spider, that I didn't see when I took the foto, I hope it's a good sign that I might actually keep the berries.
