dragonfly

went out with GillyH today to explore the area around Waltham Abbey. We walked to the Cornmill Meadows which are known for their dragonflies. We did see a few but mainly far away and I was feeling lazy so only carrying my compact with a wide angle lens. This one though briefly landed in front of me. Also captured a butterfly (? a speckled wood) which I've not photographed before., see extra.
