Working well

I have absolutely loved today! It began overcast, and continued that way for the rest of the day. Here in the Surrey Hills, there was a terrific thunderstorm. The thunder was so loud, it felt like it was right above the Lodge! I enjoyed watching it all from the comfort and warmth of the lounge. :)

I wondered how the solar lights would fare with no sun to charge them up. The lights on the decking needed help being charged by a power bank. I was thrilled to see these step lights on - working as they should. I've been moving them to catch the sun, but when I am not here, they will have to charge where they are, so I'm hoping for the best over the next few days. I have to say, it's the first time in a long time that I didn't feel gross. Work was a breeze as a result.

It's been a productive day on the Lodge front as well. I found a To-Do list that G wrote of jobs she wants to tackle. Cleaning the fridge and microwave were two items on it, so in the true spirit of collaboration, I completed those jobs. We will be in our last week when she comes back. There won't be time for mundane chores as we need to meet up with a few friends and get ready to leave.

PS. G's list had Weedol and Yucca on it... which makes me think, it might have been for her time in Cyprus!!!
