Guildford

After a boiling day where I had to concentrate hard to work, it was good to get into a car with aircon and drive to Guildford. I discovered this morning that my second pair of glasses was ready to collect two days after I collected my first pair. Someone phoned me to let me know, but didn't get through, so the caller marked my number as incorrect, and then they forgot about it. I've been waiting for two weeks to hear from them, which is what I was asked to do. I'm so glad that I phoned today.

My blip is the only picture I have taken today. The bike thrown on the floor tells a story. I stopped to take this picture, and then a young man approached me wanting to chat. I was glad I had to get to Specsavers quickly.

I came home via Poundland, which had so many interesting things to look at, the supervisor had to tell me they had just two minutes left before they closed! I love how fast the temperature drops here once the sun goes down, but the lodge is a tiny heat trap, so it took longer. And tonight, I got a crash course on Victoria Wood! I can see why that never made it to Dubai TV in the 1980s. ;)
