Wide Wednesday...local scene

We had our usual walk this morning,  but it was a bit warm, to say the least, and we kept to the shade whenever possible.  I've walk around this cricket pitch many times, but this is the first time I've noticed this metal figure, pointing out a local walk.  I thought it made a fun entry for the challenge....thanks Bob. After our cuppa  and walk back through the park, I was glad to get home and into the cool of the house....31°C this afternoon.
