Pain au chocolat or chocolatine

Around here, we would call these pains au chocolat but in the south west of France, they are called chocolatines. Whatever they are called they taste very nice with a morning cup of coffee which was the case when I wandered over to the club to watch an early morning match. The club had very considerably bought some pains au chocolat for whoever turned up to watch. I did not stay very long as I shall probably go over tonight to watch the evening matches. Instead, I went for a short walk up to the belvedere to see if my sore leg would complain. It was ok but I can still feel some twinges so will not pick up a racket for a few days. I did a bit of weeding on the steps before it got too hot and then prepared the ingredients for tomorrow’s bake.
