Nuthatch

First thing this morning I headed to the grocery store to replenish our stock of bottled water. I was looking for my daily individual bottles with the pop top and gallon jugs of spring water for our hurricane preparation.

I was not totally surprised when the store didn’t have my pop top bottles but was when they also didn’t have the spring water. They had distilled & purified but no spring. Off I went to another store.

I lucked out here and saw the store manager in one of the isles and told him what I was looking for and how many. He took my cart, went to the back of the store and came back out with the cart totally loaded with all my water. Yay!

The rest of my morning went to crap as I tried to assist with the emergency needs of one of my neighbours. Things finally sorted themselves out when I drove to the hospital to pick them up and bring them home after their trip to the emergency room.

Today was very humid but only a couple of showers.

I started putting things together for our long weekend trip to the mountains and spent time putting together road directions as things aren’t totally back to normal yet from Hurricane Helene. Also can’t rely on GPS up there as things are spotty in the mountains at the best of times so don’t know what we’ll get this trip.

I did find time to be on the porch with MiniMe and watch the birds at the feeders. Lots of Brown Headed Nuthatch about today.
