Cleaning Windows

This happened today! If it wasn't for our friends cleaning the windows and the gutters, this would have been a much bigger job. Today, though, Paul just cleaned the windows - outside and inside. When hiring him, I asked if the uPVC on the inside was included. He said, "Yes". But his idea of cleaning the uPVC was completely different from mine. I later discovered that uPVC is a job on its own. Having completed the job myself after I finished work, I see what he means. Tomorrow I shall have a go at mopping! Hehe.

We had another heatwave today - the fourth of the summer. I am pleased I got through it. At one point, I had both fans on, pointed at me! It was lovely when it got overcast late afternoon, and we even had a few drops of rain. They were most welcome.
