Glorious Twelfth
I did try to think about how I was going to get a blip of a grouse today, but the best I have to offer is the biggest jellyfish I’ve ever seen. I would give you a banana for scale, but this was as big as a whole bunch of bananas multiplied by three. It was being washed up on a wee cove between Ayr and Prestwick.
I caught it on my longer walk today of 3.5 miles, and I’m suffering as a result on this lovely summer evening. I’m not used to longer walks but they must be done if I’m going to reach my target of eighty miles.
Pizza tonight as L came with me today, too hot for dogs, and we are both fairly exhausted now. This pizza will have some pineapple on board, just because I like it that way.
The extra is a surprise view of Ailsa Craig, or Paddy’s Milestone, in the heat haze.
