Isaacs first big train journey north! We walked from our flat to the train station...took the train from there into London Victoria. Took the tube from Victoria to Kings X. Took the big train from Kings X to Edinburgh. Then a bus to the park and ride. And then in the car to Granny and Papas. Both children behaved very well on the journey. I had a small rucksack on my back and Isaac on my front. My Dad was carrying my huge rucksack and a small holdall and we shared Amelie between us (who had her own rucksack!) No way we could have managed with a buggy! I was surprised that in the whole of our journey I only saw one man carrying his baby in a sling....so many people struggling on transport, in crowds etc. Isaac was happy being able to see everything (and smile at everyone!) and safe from all the bustling crowds.

Anyway....we got here and Amelie played with the playmobil house for ages before changing into her swimming costume and heading outside to the sandpit. It was by no means warm, crazy girl!

They are both asleep now. Fingers crossed for a good night...
