Blue flowers and a red biplane

A better day today - sunny and quite warm. Not feeling very energetic, so when the others walked down to the town I sat out in the sun with a cuppa and a book!

After lunch I sat out for a bit and then did some fiddling about in the garden. My Blip today is of my favourite hydrangea - 'Zorro'. Deep blue lacecap flowers and stems so dark that they're almost black. While I was outside I heard the sound of my neighbour's biplane - as usual, he did a few circuits before landing again. It's hard to catch him as he pops out of the trees with little or no warning - my extra today.
