Exploring around Inniscarra

A massive day out with the Cork Historical and Archaeological Society somewhere around Inniscarra which is sort of near Blarney.  We took in a hydro-electric dam,  a wonderfully colourful Protestant church with some beautiful stained glass windows where we sat on straw bales under a colossal tree to eat our picnics, an old military graveyard only recently uncovered,  an ancient graveyard where the current residents had moved from a previous graveyard due to a priest killer being interred amongst their midst, another Protestant church and finally a holy well. I had been here before but it had been tided up and there was a new addition of a gate to admire this time. Tobar na mna finne - well of the blonde woman - seemingly she had drowned in it sadly.
