All together

We arrived a 5.30 just as John had arrived back with the girls on the bike from ‘The Beach’ at Victoria Park. Good time made as we left home at 1.00.

We were greeted by the tent set up in the garden. A test run for the Outer Hebrides (Harris) next week and John and the girls slept out in it on Friday night.

We sat outside for a drink in the sun and John gave me a little thank you gift from Japan. (He was there just over a week ago and I came down to help out with the girls) He’d had an amazing time and it was a successful trip for business too which is what it was all about.

We had our meal outside on the terrace too as the sun was going down. I took a photo of us but John volunteered his long arms for this selfie.

The girls started doing cartwheels on the lawn as John had taken the tent down, which turned into an impromptu dance show! A lovely start to our stay.
