Dawber Garden

Mum, Dad and I took a walk up to Dawber Garden near the castle and cathedral this morning to take some pictures. Lots of flowers, bees, flies, butterflies, fish, and a couple of people who approached us and got Dad to record them doing a dance. There's a full Flickr album here. I was spoilt for choice on what to blip. Being able to take pictures like this are the reason I wanted a camera! I wouldn't have been able to get any pictures like this on my phone.

We headed back home, had lunch, booked tickets for Wigan Warriors vs Wakefield in a fortnight, and then when Zeph arrived, we all headed to Jeri's. 

Jeri and Paul weren't actually in when we got there as they were delayed in the Peak District, but Horatio and Theo were around. We relaxed in the garden all day, doing a bit of reading earlier on, before focussing on sorting through a Hogwarts Lego set Jeri has bought. We also had some lovely burgers and fries for tea, and I had a couple of delicious chocolate cookie cake slices made by Jeri for her cake box.

A wonderful day to finish off a wonderful weekend! I've now arrived back in Leeds this evening.
